We specialise in providing families and children with evidence based Speech Pathology services in order to achieve their speech pathology goals. We provide services for children from birth to 16 years of age, with mild to significant disability or needs. Our service is clinic based, however, we provide mobile speech pathology services to kinder, home and schools depending on your speech pathology goals.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Blossom Tree Speech Pathology can accept National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clients. NDIS clients included those who are self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funds.

We can provide various speech pathology services to work towards your child’s NDIS speech pathology goals. Furthermore, if your child is applying for the NDIS, we can help develop your assessment report and provide a suggested forecast report for service. Services covered by the NDIS follow the NDIS Price Guide and are higher due to the additional administrative costs required to access this funding.

    NDIS Participant Referrals
    • 60-minute face-to-face consultation and a comprehensive report. This session includes obtaining a case history to gain a thorough understanding of your child’s needs and speech pathology goals. Based on your child’s goals a screener or assessment will be completed. The current fee is $193.99 per 60 minutes and applies to both assessment and therapy sessions, including telepractice. The total cost for the initial consultation is $387.98
    • For NDIS clients a service agreement will also be completed as per NDIS requirements.
    • Subsequent therapy sessions may then commence and target your child’s speech pathology goals.
    • Therapy sessions are billed at 60 minutes (50 minutes face to face and 10 minutes progress notes and planning). This is billed at $193.99

    Medicare /Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP)

    Medicare provides a rebate of $53.75 for up to five allied health sessions per calendar year for individuals with chronic conditions that require treatment from several health professionals.

    These rebates can be allocated entirely for Speech Pathology services, or can be shared between a combination of medical and allied health services, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Audiology. For more information and to determine if your child is eligible for this rebate, please contact your GP.

      Private Health Insurance

      Under private health extras cover, you can claim Speech Pathology assessments and subsequent Speech Pathology therapy sessions. The rebate amount depends on the individual level of cover. Please contact your health fund provider for further information regarding your level of cover.

        Private Referrals

        • If additional assessment sessions are required for example completing a formal language assessment, this is charged at the standard therapy rate.
        • Subsequent therapy sessions may then commence and target your child’s speech pathology goals. Therapy sessions are billed at 60 minutes (50 minutes face to face and 10 minutes progress notes and planning). This is billed at $180.00
